What in the Hemp?

With all the eco-friendly fabrics and materials out there that brands get to choose from when crafting their latest new garments, it’s a wonder why the ‘Headwear’ game hasn’t followed suit in crafting more organic options (or at least stylish ones!). Trying to find a ball cap that compliments your conscious forward lifestyle is about as hard as bathing a cat.

Leave it to the recently passed legislation finally exonerating hemp from its dubious crimes and allowing it to rightly flourish to give a little extra incentive for brands to support the cause. “Consumers across America buy hundreds of millions in retail products every year that contain hemp Majority Leader Mitch McConnel said on the Senate floor.  “But due to outdated federal regulations that do not sufficiently distinguish this industrial crop from its illicit cousin, American farmers have been mostly unable to meet that demand themselves. It’s left consumers with little choice but to buy imported hemp products from foreign-produced hemp.”

In their pursuit in providing consumers with socially responsible products whenever possible, the good boys at Y B ÷ & HH are expanding their products to align with their values. Now offering their loyal fans Hemp and organic made products from t-shirts to hats like ‘What The Hemp,’ a trifecta of hemp, organic cotton, and recycled polyester to help keep that summer glare off your salt crusted eyes. A tip of the hat to the subtle style and design of this low profile dad hat, which offers a Y B ÷ x HH leather hem label and eyelet inserts.

Y B ÷ & HH have teamed up with the great folks at Lonely Whale Foundation to highlight their efforts to combat environmental pollution and its costly effects on our oceans and its marine life. A 10% donation from every purchase of their ‘What The Hemp’ hat and ‘Lonely Whale’ shirts are made to Lonely Whale.
